How do I mark a shot as a positional shot in dashboard editing feature?

A positional shot is any shot where you are not attempting to hit the green—for example, laying up, punching out, or playing conservatively to avoid trouble. Tagging a shot as positional ensures that it doesn’t negatively affect your approach play statistics.

On the Mobile App:

1. Open the round you want to edit.
2. Tap on the hole containing the shot.
3. Tap on the club tag of the shot you want to mark.
4. In the shot details screen, toggle “Positional Shot” on.
5. Tap “Save” to confirm the change.

On the Web Dashboard:

1. Log into your Shot Scope dashboard.
2. Open the round you’d like to edit.
3. Select the hole and click on the shot you wish to edit.
4. On the right-hand side, tick the box labelled “Positional Shot”.
5. Click “Save” to apply the update.

Once a shot is marked as positional, it will be excluded from your approach statistics. You can update or remove this designation at any time through the same editing process.
